ARSENAL BID £22 MILLION STRIKER WITH 14 GOALS THIS SEASON

Spanish football club side Getafe have denied that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal made a bid for Striker Borja Mayoral

Arsenal are in desperate need of a goal scorer especially following their recent 2-0 loss to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

The game ought to have been over by halftime, but the Merseyside club’s outstanding defense and Arsenal’s subpar finishing meant that it was goalless at the intermission, giving the opposition the opportunity to take advantage of their opportunities.

The loss has highlighted the necessity for Arsenal to try to sign a goal scorer with track record, and connections have been made with Getafe and former Real Madrid striker Borja Mayoral.

Sources in Spain have downplayed rumors that the Gunners had an offer rejected for the Spanish forward, despite reports that surfaced overnight. Instead, they maintain that they have not received an offer from the Gunners.

The Gunners are among several Premier League teams that have been connected, including West Ham and Fulham, although it was previously reported that they had made an offer.

But as of right now, the attacker, who has 12 goals this season in La Liga, is still without an offer from the Gunners.

With 309 games played and 102 goals scored in his career, fans were starting to become enthusiastic about the possibilities.

Even if a striker is desperately needed, we hear that the club would prefer to bring in a forward before the transfer season closes, but right now, a midfielder and defender seem more likely.
