Clash of Titans: Ngannou vs. Joshua – Dan Hardy’s Bold Prediction

When Francis Ngannou knocked down Tyson Fury last year, it grabbed the attention of the entire boxing community. Despite the loss in that match via a disputed split points decision, the former UFC star now has his sights set on Anthony Joshua, with their upcoming bout scheduled for March 8th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Mixed martial arts authority Dan Hardy anticipates Ngannou to defy expectations and defeat Joshua. Hardy perceives Joshua as psychologically weaker than Fury, which could significantly impact the fight’s outcome.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Hardy expressed his confidence in Ngannou, stating, “I am going with Ngannou, genuinely.” He noted Joshua’s vulnerability to psychological pressure and Ngannou’s unpredictability, which could catch Joshua off guard.

Hardy also highlighted Ngannou’s formidable punching power, which he believes will surprise Joshua. Despite Joshua’s renowned punching ability, Hardy feels Ngannou possesses an indescribable force that could penetrate Joshua’s defenses.

However, Hardy cautioned Ngannou about his fitness and age, suggesting that Joshua’s youth and experience could work in his favor. With 30 fights and only three losses, Joshua has the stamina and skill to endure long bouts, potentially capitalizing if Ngannou tires out.

Joshua enters the fight with momentum, having secured three consecutive victories. His goal is to reclaim his status as a world champion and set up a potential showdown with Fury.

Looking ahead, boxing fans can anticipate an intriguing future for the heavyweight division. Eddie Hearn, a prominent boxing promoter, revealed plans for the winners of the Joshua-Ngannou and Fury-Usyk fights to face off, potentially determining the undisputed heavyweight champion.

As Hearn stated, “AJ is going to beat Francis Ngannou, and then he’s going to beat the winner of Fury-Usyk, and he’s going to become the undisputed heavyweight world champion.”
