Defensive Tackle’s Journey: From High School Standout to Seasoned Pro

Heading into his seventh NFL season, this defensive tackle has a diverse career trajectory. He played for the Buffalo Bills in both 2022 and 2023, participating in a total of 32 games with four starts during this tenure. Prior to his time with the Bills, he spent his initial four seasons with the Washington team.

His NFL journey began when he was drafted in the 5th round as the 163rd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by Washington. He marked a significant milestone in his career when he achieved his first career sack in Week 5 of the 2019 season, taking down New England’s Tom Brady for a seven-yard loss. Approaching the 2024 season, he will turn 27.

During his tenure with the Bills, he shared the field with notable players like Texans WR Stefon Diggs and Texans QB Case Keenum in 2022. Prior to his professional career, he showcased his skills at Virginia Tech, where he accumulated 19.5 tackles for loss over two seasons. His journey began in high school at Stonewall Jackson High School in Bull Run, Virginia, where he demonstrated his talent with 72 tackles, three sacks, and two fumble recoveries during his senior year.

Additionally, he shares a history with defensive back Greg Stroman, Jr., having been teammates at various stages from high school through to their time at Virginia Tech and Washington from 2018 to 2020. Beyond football, he also delves into music, boasting his own Spotify channel under the moniker “Itz Tim.”
