DISGRACEFUL: Moises Caicedo’s abysmal role in Chelsea Loss

Chelsea lost to Middlesbrough, thanks to a disgraceful defending from £115m man, Moises Caicedo

The role Moises Caicedo played in Middlesbrough’s opening goal in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg has left many Chelsea fans infuriated to say the least.

Thirty-seven minutes into the first leg at the Riverside, Michael Carrick’s team took the lead after Chelsea wasted a plethora of opportunities, including a sitter from Cole Palmer. On 37 minutes, following an explosive run from Isaiah Jones, Hayden Hackney, arrived late, to turn home his cross.

Although Boro’s goal was masterfully constructed, Blues supporters were incensed that Caicedo, a £100 million acquisition, had not chosen to remain at Hackney. The Boro forward, who was unpressed as he stroked the ball home, was not closed down by Caicedo.

Over all, the loss must be shared. All chelsea players especially the attackers must take responsibility and start firing or risk sinking even deeper.
