Jordan Love reveals eye-opening self-assessment on improvements

Jordan Love only gets better

Defeat to the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara on Saturday, 24–21, put an end to the Green Bay Packers’ hopes of winning the Super Bowl in the 2023 NFL season. There are some positives to be gained from the recent season for the Packers, even though they are no longer in the running for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. One such good is the play of quarterback Jordan Love, who after two years of playing behind Aaron Rodgers, has finally emerged.

Love thinks he made significant progress in the 2023 campaign, and he intends to build on it moving forward.

“Knowing where to go with the ball, getting a better view of the defense, spotting pressures, and similar things.” After the 49ers game, Love stated, “My general understanding of what the defense is trying to do to us.”

In 2023, Love experienced a difficult lesson on his last pass of the season when 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw intercepted him in the closing seconds of the NFC divisional-round game between the Packers and Niners.

After finishing the game with two touchdowns and 194 throwing yards with a pair of interceptions on 21/34 completions, the former first-round choice of the Packers.

During his rookie campaign as the starting quarterback for the Packers, Love amassed 4,159 passing yards, 32 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, and a 64.2 percent completion percentage.

Love can be far more dependable for the Packers behind center with the experience he gained in 2023.
