Leeds United Swoop for Premier League duo

Ben Johnson of West Ham and Neco Williams of Nottingham Forest are apparently targets for Leeds as they try to maximize the January transfer window.

Daniel Farke will be looking for a strong second half of the season, as Leeds faces automatic promotion to the Premier League with seven points remaining.

In order to strengthen his team, the German manager will undoubtedly be looking to add some defenders in January.

So far this month, two defenders have left Elland Road: Djed Spence was called up by Tottenham, while Luke Ayling moved to Middlesbrough.

Leeds is reportedly keeping an eye on two Premier League players, Johnson and Williams, according to a Yorkshire Post article sourced from The Athletic.

Although the West Ham defender has made one Premier League start this season, his performance in London has not been sufficient to earn him a spot in David Moyes’ plans.

Williams, however, has participated in Forest’s past five league games and has been a key player in Wales’ quest for European Qualification this year.

Before playing Preston the next week, Farke’s team will play a pivotal Championship match in Cardiff on Saturday.
