Rafa Nadal made a comeback at the Brisbane International in early January, clinching victories against Dominic Thiem and Jason Kubler. However, he faced a setback in the quarterfinals, losing to local player Jordan Thompson despite holding three match points. Despite this, Toni Nadal remains steadfast in his belief that Rafa will triumph at the French Open.

The 22-times Grand Slam champion had hoped for a healthy return to the courts this year, but he withdrew from the Australian Open and subsequently the Qatar Open. His next tournament is scheduled for early March at Indian Wells.
