West Ham Swoop for former Tottenham star

The Hammers are eyeing former Spurs winger Steven Bergwijn in a bid to add depth to their forward line this January.

West Ham have moved from glory to glory since their Europa Conference League last season, and they are presently ranked sixth in the Premier League standings.

However, the squad is under pressure now that they are playing more difficult Europa League games, which has led to more injuries.

David Moyes also has very little choices in his forward line up with Mohammed Kudus leaving for the AFCON and Michail Antonio is presently out.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the Hammers are interested in former Tottenham player Bergwijn as they try to bolster that area.

The Dutch winger failed to impress during his spell in North London and returned to Ajax in 2022 where he has been in sensational form, amassing 24 goals in 65 games within the period.

It remains to be seen where these rumours go, but for now they are concrete.
